About me

Hi, I’m Sammy - wife, teacher, photographer, art-lover, coffee addict, winter-lover, and most proudly, a mommy too.

My Photography journey started in 2013 when I bought my first entry-level Nikon camera, and enrolled in a couple of Photography courses while studying teaching at University. It was crazy, because I really only did it on a whim. From there on, a love for photography I never knew I had, grew bigger and bigger. I then decided to start a business - and making other people as happy as I was about taking their beautiful photos. This business has been such a blessing in my life. This is the reason why I chose to add the slogan "Made With Love" to my business name. Yes... I know it's cliché, but when I talk about love, I don't talk about the emotion we feel for others. The meaning behind it is sooo much bigger.

This deeper meaning comes from 1 John 4:7-12. It says that "God is love". If we understand this, we understand that God consists of ONLY Love, He envelopes it, and He exists entirely of it. Love streams from Him. And it is this Love that I'm talking about. We cannot comprehend this Love, but we know it's fierce and direct, it's ours, even if we don't deserve it. Therefore this business is to glorify Him for this amazing passion and ability I have to be a Photographer. And I do everything with Him by my side, everything is Made With Love.

So, how have I come to love being a photographer? Being a Photographer means that I possess this God-given ability of making time stand still. How awesome is that not?? I hold this ability within the palms of my hands along with my Nikon D750...yes, I am a #NikonLady!

We look back and see how tiny our children were, or how happy we were walking down the aisle seeing our forever-love, standing tall, waiting eagerly, all with the purest of joy. This is the ability God has given me, to capture these moments, where time, just for an instant, stands still and smiles at the camera...

I look forward to meeting with you over a cup of hot coffee, and talking about your special day.

Love,

Sammy
